Just saw myself on the Auction Kings reality TV show, attending an auction I never went to, bidding on items I never bid on … apparently when you sign that piece of paper they can transport you backwards or forwards in time and make it appear as though you did something that you never did. Totally weird.
If you’re curious, it’s the episode titled “Scrimshaw / Oliver North / Chopper”, or something like that. I was actually bidding on an Audubon print at their auction a week or two later, which turned out to be a repro and I got my money back in the end.
